Halloween!! Its probably one of my favorite times of year! The leaves are changing, and the cold crisp air has returned. And haunted things comes to life! EEK! Love me some haunted things. This is just kind of a cumulative post over the month of October.
I picked pumpkins at a little patch near my home here in Independence. I wanted to get a white pumpkin but did not see the perfect one..so settled with a few orange ones..and some gourds of course. Here are a few pics from the patch..

For the actual night of Halloween, I went out with some friends to a house party. The house party ended up being totally lame, and just all sorts of bad things going on, so we basically didn't stay for too long. Highlights of the night though? Getting a bottle of wine all to myself...carrying it around, like a boss. Pretty much, everyone else gets red cup..I get a wine bottle. No big deal.
And I played Kings cup for the first time...
And got told that I was the St Paulys Girl...
Costume from a few years ago but pic from 2011 dont' hate
October was a super fun month! I also ended up going to a haunted corn maze with my friend Lindsay, which is amazing, because haunted corn mazes are one of my favorite things, and for some reason, Washington does not have too many of those! No pics of the event, but lets just say, I am pretty sure I peed my pants 27 times..and twice on Tuesday.
Also, went up to Washington a few times...and Timmy and I went to Craven Farms in Snohomish. We made a day of it and took the dogs to the pumpkin patch. Of course they were not able to go in, but we left them in the car, and picked out pumpkins for us. We also went to a maze that they had there, that was Alice in Wonderland themed. It was so much fun! We bought some delicious cider there and they had the old school pumpkin sugar cookies that we loved when we were kids there, so we got a couple of those, and went back to the car and enjoyed a snack and some juice. It was very fun! We also went to Grilla Bites, which is a super delicious chain..that is slowly making its way up here, in Snohomish. Unfortunately, it was not as good as we remembered from the one in Redding, but it wasn't terrible!!
We ended up not being able to go to Fright Town in Portland like last year, the month just seemed to slip away...but I did end up going on a hike with Sullivan. We went to this arboretum road place between here and Corvallis. It had a ton of different trail heads and we even stumbled upon a lake up there..
Here is a picture from our hike
Anyways friends, I think that was basically my October in a nutshell.
Love you all times pi
