Here comes the bride...

So the last portion of my week off from worky work was I was in one of my best friends wedding. This girl has been one of my best friends since we met in middle school. It was really like...love at first sight..or friendship or whatever the eff you want to call it...because honestly...im not really sure how it happened, or how we got to talking...but she made our 8th grade year...absolutely amazing. I just remember having the most fun, I have EVER had in my whole school years that very year. Sure we may have gotten in trouble...and wrote TOO many notes to count...but it was the most fun I have had. We had each other in like 3 or 4 classes...it was amazing.

Fastforward like 11 years..and here we are..she is getting married to the man of her dreams.
I am so freaking ecstatic for them. Seriously...the love they have for each other..is just amazing. I have only met Tom a handful of times..but I can really tell that he really loves her..just by the way she talks so highly of him. It makes me so happy.

One of my favorite things about this girl is even though I now live in Oregon..and if it is a little while until we talk..we ALWAYS..ALWAYS ALWAYS pick up right where we left off. I just cherish that so much about her...and I am so happy we are friends.

Anyways... enough about us..and on to the wedding! So I was so honored and feel so lucky that she chose me to be a bridesmaid. I feel super bad because I am in Oregon, I wasn't really able to participate in a lot of the wedding activities...numero uno..because I went to Disneyland when they went to the bachelorette party..and then of course...just being out of state makes it super hard! So on September 1st, I met Megann at her house so that way we could all ride together for the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner.
It was fun to meet everyone that was involved with the wedding..and just to finally see everybody!! She had a ton of people from Michigan staying with her too, so it was nice to meet all those people, and all these people that have known Megann or Tom, through different aspects of their lives.

So we drove to Robinswood House in Bellevue for the rehearsal. We of course..blew the rehearsal and then after all that was said and done..decided to go to the hotel room that they had all rented out for us. We had a few drinks and just relaxed a little bit, before meeting up with everybody at the rehearsal dinner. We went to some bar in Seattle. I can't remember the name..but we had dinner and drinks there...then after that we went back to the hotel, and I drove back home, since I hadn't planned on staying at the hotel.

The very next day, I woke up early, and met up with another one of the bridesmaids Katie. We drove together to the hotel and started to get ready for the day.

Then it was time for the ceremony. Her brother played guitar, and it was just so beautiful and sweet, almost right at sunset...ahh I can't even describe it..I don't have a TON of pictures..but this is what I have.

Afterwards it was basically a dance party..and of course the cake

Then after the reception..we went to the hotel room, and had an after party...

Where we basically got kicked out of said hotel room, and they made us party down in the lobby...which Im not really sure why that was better...but we definitely brought our party down there...complete with alcohol and snacks.

I got tired soon after...and decided to call it a night.

I am so thankful that they invited all of us to share their special day with them. I feel so honored to be a part of it all. I love them both so very much, and wish them everything for their happily ever after.

Love you all times PI
